Putting pen to paper can be a beast and when you finally do you may find that it is a wonderful stretch of your creative muscles and imagination. Or you may find that it was pure agony. Either way when you put down your pen, you’ll have a first draft! That’s the easy part. Now you get to give it some spit & shine and try to get it published. But how?
Time to start submitting, baby!
Once you have achieved the goal of writing regularly it’s time to reach for that next stepping stone, dust off the pile, and send your baby out to be read by someone who isn’t you. That’s hard enough, so I’ve done some of the leg work for you. Each of these opportunities is a chance for you to polish up a story and send it into the abyss that is publication.
Just remember, when you look into the abyss, it looks back.
